Olamide and Wizkid are an iconic duo and whenever they link up, you know it’s a banger.
Their partnership started way back in 2011 when fast-rising Wizkid assisted up-and-coming Olamide on one of his first hits. The single, “Omo To Shan” was off Olamide’s first album, “Rapsodi” which also had the “Eni Duro” hit single.
Their next link-up was for a non-album single in 2016, “Confam Ni“, produced by Young John, Olamide‘s longtime producer.
The jam was all over the place around the time it dropped, and it was shortly before Wizkid embarked on his first international campaign.
Later in 2018, Wizkid and Olamide joined their efforts again to make a hit, this time it was the afro tune, “Kana.” The song has some of Olamide‘s earliest efforts at vocalizations and was a big hit.
Their last collaboration came in 2019 when they both hopped on an ID Cabasa instrumental to do the street hit, “Totori.” The song was a banger through and through.
There is no question about the chemistry Wizkid and Olamide have. The two guys can do wonders together, and if they were to make a joint album together, it would definitely be one of the biggest projects the music industry has ever seen, owing to the influence they both have currently.
Now, let’s hear from you.
